Systemic Organizational Development

I’m Simone.
Over the past ten years, I’ve collaborated with international corporations, startups, public institutions, and entrepreneurs as a strategist, designer, and consultant for organizational development and change. In my roles as a project leader at IDEO and IXDS (now PwC), as well as a consultant for systemic organizational development, I combine human-centred design with a systemic mindset — creating holistic, meaningful solutions that benefit both organizations and the people within them.

WHAT DRIVES ME
Designing Change. Together.
Organizations are living, complex systems. They cannot be changed from the outside — true transformation arises from within. Systemic organizational development recognizes this dynamism and creates conditions under which change can emerge from the existing system.
Service design brings a design perspective into these processes. It focuses on people and their behaviour, asking specifically about spaces for design that often remain invisible in everyday life. Through observation, co-creation, and iterative experiments, these spaces become visible, tangible, and usable.
The strength of combining both disciplines becomes evident where:
a systemic attitude and design methods intersect,
relationships, patterns, and structures are recognised as elements that can be shaped,
the future is not planned but tested — through iterative, co-creative prototyping,
change is not imposed, but developed together in dialogue.
Service design makes the abstract concrete — through visualisation, prototyping, and collaborative creation. The systemic perspective ensures that the big picture is kept in view: culture, communication, and the often invisible dynamics within an organization.
In this way, space is created for real, sustainable transformation — from within the system, together with the people who give it life.
